Hades, you don’t need the moon for that

All you need are a few drinks. I have to confess, I don’t think it really changes you into the opposite of what you are. I think it lets who you  are show. In my case I am super relaxed with not a care in the world. “All’s right in the world and God is in his heaven.”

The best way I can describe it is if I bought a brand new 2015 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, had NO insurance on it yet and I let you drive it and you wrecked it? If I was sober, I would kill your F**king G*****n A** You F**K MORON WHAT IN THE M********ING H*LL WHERE YOU BL**DY F**KING THINKING. If I was drunk? “Are you okay? It’s just a car. It can be replaced.”

Drinking turns me into Super Mr. Nice Guy with not a care in the world and strips away all that crap conditioned into me. You want to go out and bang the sheep while you are painted pink and purple? As long as the sheep are willing, go for it. I don’t care when I’m drunk. It’s who I would be if my mother hadn’t got her claws into me. And I rather like him. He’s a nice guy. And he’s happy.

So I will take this as the full moon experience. And I have something to add after the next sentence so hang on.

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “The Full Moon.”

I posted this on Facebook yesterday in response to why you support Freedom to Marry.

Why I support the freedom to marry?

Because I never got the chance to marry the man I loved.

Because if you want to claim you have freedom you must extend it to all members of a society otherwise you are a lying hypocrite.

Because if you wish to have Rights, you must extend those same rights to everyone otherwise it is a privilege and it may be taken from you at any moment.

Because to regard any human as lesser than you are is a recipe for disaster of a magnitude we have no seen since 1930s.

Because humans have a right to love the person they love.

And lastly, because it simply is the right thing to do.

May Freedom finally ring and may we be one step closer to what we claim America is but really isn’t. And may those who hate and fear find there was nothing to hate and fear all along but themselves.

Today we go to court and wait with bated breath to see if centuries of pain and suffering will be wiped away and we will be considered human. We should never have had to do this. Never. It is a unjust, unfair, simply not right man-made construct.
