A Chronicle of Human Stupidity.

Time Capsule

What would you put in this year’s time capsule to channel the essence of our current moment for future generations?

Bigotry is alive and well just as it was in 1950.

Same Sex marriages in Nebraska on hold

Or 1785
Lawyer In California Proposes Killing Gays With ‘Sodomite Suppression Act’

Religion hasn’t changed much since the Spanish Inquisition.

States weigh legislation to refuse to serve Gay Couples [How about we refuse service to those who keep popping kids out like rabbits?]

But some people are still humans and not refugees from the local state hospital

Amici Briefs to the United States Supreme Court in support of the freedom to marry

But it still is 1960s again
Modern civil rights movement expands on classic methods

But we are trying to limit the population… one way or another.

Another oil train explodes

What the Massive Snow fall tells us [You remember Boston right? the place that is under the new Arctic pole or at least looks like it]

How did your City fare this winter?

Meanwhile back at the ranch…  We still be lying, fighting and dividing.  Best way to keep the peasants in check.  Beats Church control every time.  Just ask Hitler.

How to make friends and Bamboozle the masses..

What is old is new again!

Plague is price for Deforestation.

And as a good kicker, why don’t we just use the DNA from the plague to fix up your tomato.

Proof he’s the Science Guy, Nye changing his mind about GMOs

And again, we all remember 1965 [I picked that because that was when I almost died from measles]

Outbreak spreads to 3 more states and DC

Should I go on?  I could you know.  Sadly I could.

We can name this year “The start of the New Dark Ages”  Coming soon to America.  I was about to say why in the hell would we want to make a time capsule of our stupidity and gullibility.  But maybe we need to.  The future generation that’s left, if there is one left, needs to see how stupid we really were.

    1. I wish it wasn’t. One would think we should be getting smarter because we finally have the stuff our ancestors wished for including ways to cure deadly diseases.

      1. Our ‘modern’ advances have given us more time: free time and longer lives. Spare time gives everyone opportunities – because they are shooting or growing their food and appreciating how short life it – to FIND problems to bitch about. “1st World Problems”
